Motorola is set to launch its new smartphone in the market. The fourth-generation of Moto or Moto G4 will be launched on May 17.
Rumours are pointing out that Moto G4 will come with two variants- one will a regular Moto G4 while the other one will be a plus-sized variant or the Plus version. Apparently, the company is following the bandwagon of plus-sized variants, which was created by Apple- such as iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.
As the launch date is nearing, speculations regarding the device are keep trickling each day. As said, a new set of leaks have surfaced on the internet. The Indian import/export website named Zuaba (via Android Headlines) has listed specifications of the fourth generation of Moto G and Moto G4 Plus.
The Zauba listing says that the Moto G4 will run on 2GB of RAM and have 16GB of internal memory, another variant- the Moto G4 Plus will include 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt memory. The listing also adds previously speculated specifications.
It adds that the regular Moto G would sport a 5-inch screen and a 13MP camera on the back panel of the device, while the Plus version is reported to have a 5.5-inch screen and a 16MP rear camera. However, both devices will have laser autofocus feature.
A 5MP front facing camera of OmniVision sensor with the support of NFC connectivity will be featured in both fourth generations of other variants. These devices will ship with Android Marshmallow.
The Lenovo-owned Motorola devices will be powered by an octa-core processor (possibly Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615) and have FullHD screen display. It is said that a 3,000mAh battery will be included with Turbo Charging feature in either model. In addition, a fingerprint scanner will be incorporated in the new Moto G phones, thus following the current trend in smartphones, notes India Today.
The fourth generation of the mobile will have a plastic body and probably will be a waterproof device. As for connectivity the devices will have dualSIM support.
