Zayn Malik might have chosen his own path apart from his former group, One Direction. But, this can be the start of his success, as his new song “Befour” could be a hit among the fans.

“Befour’s” instrumental version has been teased on his two- minute interview with Fader as the background song for the duration of the chat.

Noted that the teaser made its way online four days after 1D released their newest album “Made in the AM.”

The video has been described by Hollywood Life as “the British bad boy of pop music gets shirtless and rides a motorbike at his home in North London as a sultry tune plays in the background.”

As for the interview, Malik revealed that he is still wondering about what his fans would say about the single and the work in progress album.

“I don’t feel like people really know what I’m going to give them, musically,” the 22-year-old singer said.

“And once they hear it, I feel like they will understand me a little bit more, and they’ll understand why I did what I did, and why I left the band, and why I had to write this sh*t ,” he added.

The Bradford native also explained that he’s been waiting for 5 years to let his own music out of his brain, and how his taste in music differs from his former group mates.

His full interview will be out on Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 6pm ET on Fader.

Malik left Harry Styles and the rest of One Direction in March, allegedly saying that he wants to make “real music.” Recently, the young artist had signed his deal with RCA Records and is now working with R&B producer Malay, who also handled Frank Ocean and John Legend.
