Amidst the issues and controversies surrounding the show, the five remaining acts of “X Factor” UK are now preparing for a different kind of challenge this coming weekend.

Watch out as 5 contestants namely 4th Impact, Lauren Murray, Reggie N’ Bollie, Louisa Johnson, and Che Chesterman perform “Jukebox” songs this week.

As mentioned on Carter Matt, the reality singing competition will feature a different challenge on the quarter-finals this week. All remaining acts will perform two songs each. One was chosen by the acts and their mentors while the other song was chosen by viewers through Twitter online votes.

All-Filipino girl group 4th Impact will perform “I’ll Be There” by Jackson 5. According to Carter Matt, this is the group’s chance to perform a ballad after their upbeat song performances. Will the girls take note of the comments made by “X Factor” UK judge Simon Cowell?

Meanwhile, another crowd favourite Louisa Johnson will sing a rendition of Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself.” Majority of viewers chose this song for Louisa instead of James Brown’s “It’s A Man’s World”or Labrinth’s “Jealous.”

Judge Nick Grimshaw’s only act Che Chesterman will take on the record-breaking song, “Hello” by Adele. It’s another ballad for Che but will this song be his entry to the show’s semi-finals? “X Factor” still has to comment on the issue that Simon told judges to save Che last week.

Another act on Groups category is Reggie ‘n Bollie who will perform “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)” by Silento. Carter Matt mentioned that the group must be extra creative with their performance because the song typically annoys a lot of people.

Aspiring singer Lauren Murray will take on Kygo’s “Firestone” this weekend. Last week, the singer was involved in a controversy for allegedly pushing a 4th Impact member. However, the 4th Impact girls denied the allegations.

Tune in to “X Factor” UK this weekend on ITV at 8pm.
