It will be a homecoming for One Direction this weekend.
1D will return on “X Factor” UK stage to perform a song, or possibly songs, from their newly-released album “Made in the AM.”
The boy band released their fifth album today (Nov 13).

On Wednesday, judge/mentor Simon Cowell asked his millions of Twitter followers about what theme they want to see on the show.
Many suggested a theme that will feature One Direction hit singles, or having the band members as judges or mentors.
The nine remaining acts of “X Factor” UK – 4th Impact, Reggie ‘N’ Bollie, Che Chesterman, Mason Noise, Louisa Johnson, Lauren Murray, Monica Michael, Anton Stephans, and Max Stone – will show off for the themed challenge on Saturday.
Judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini revealed this weekend’s theme is “Movies,” Telegraph wrote.
TellyMix listed down some of possible movie soundtracks that the contestants may perform on Saturday.
4th Impact – “Work It Out” (Beyonce)
Reggie n Bollie – “Who Let The Dogs Out” (Baha Men)
Che Chesterman – “When a Man Loves a Woman” (Percy Sledge)
Lauren Murray – “License to Kill” (Gladys Knight)
Monica Michael – “My Baby Shot Me Down” (Nancy Sinatra)
Anton Stephans – “I Have Nothing” (Whitney Houston)
Max Stone – “Purple Rain” (Prince), or “Secret Garden” (Bruce Springsteen)
DigitalSpy reported some behind-the-scenes footage suggested that Mason Noise will be performing a song from “Men in Black” movie.
The songs listed were mere speculations since “X Factor” UK has yet to announce the movie soundtracks to be performed by the acts.
Meanwhile, according to TellyMix, there will be another double elimination on Sunday.
Last weekend, Seann Miley Moore and Kiera Weathers have been eliminated from the competition.
Singer Jess Glynne will also be performing on Sunday.
“X Factor” UK returns this weekend on ITV at 8pm.
