Latest WWE news is hinting that a mass release of wrestlers will happen by the end of this month.  This report mentioned that the decision was made and a handful of cuts included Damien Sandow, Cameron, Wade Barrett, Alex Riley, Hornswoggle, El Torito, Zeb Colter, and Santino Marella, What Culture reported.

The move proves to be unfortunate but necessary since WWE has allegedly hired a “plethora of new talents.”  Since there are more wrestlers joining, the wrestling entertainment giant had to make some necessary firing to make room for fresher talents.

Speculations arose that stars Heath Slater and Jack Swagger could be included in the mass release as fans have noted their absence from WWE Raw.  Both stars have also been very quiet on social media as of late with Swagger even tweeting an ambiguous “Best job I ever had. Last day” in April.

Fans are also abuzz with latest WWE news involving some talents not brought to TV tapings this week.  As Wrestle Zone reported, Sheamus recently shared online that he was given the night off from Raw.  The WWE star was also not included in last night’s Smackdown tapings.

Other stars who will not be on TV this week include Alberto Del Rio, Kane, Big Show and Mark Henry. Will they be included in WWE’s mass releases this month?

While there will be a mass exit of stars from WWE, Chairman Vince McMahon has reportedly confirmed the return of some notable names.  According to Inquistr, Seth Rollins and Randy Orton are slated to come back in the following months.  Fans should also anticipate the return of Bray Wyatt, who is also slated for a June appearance.

Rollins, Orton and Wyatt had to make a brief leave in order to recover from their injuries.  Speaking of injuries, fully-recovered John Cena will also make a huge return to action on Memorial Day later this month.
