Argentina is all set to host Brazil in the World Cup 2018 qualifier match at the Estadio Monumental Antonio Vespucio Liberti in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Ahead of their Clash, the Argentinian coach Gerardo Martino believes that Brazil captain Neymar’s current form “has him on a par with Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo,” as reported by

“Neymar is at a superlative level,” the 52-year-old coach said. “His return to the Brazil team comes at a great time.

“Every player needs time to adapt. I had to coach a very good Neymar, but what he is doing puts him at the level of the two players [Messi and Ronaldo] we considered above the rest.”

Leading Sky Sports’ Spanish football expert Guillem Balague also suggested that the Brazilian is behind only Messi. “What’s interesting is that he is now the second best player in the world, in my opinion. There’s Messi in first and now Neymar is in second,” said Balague.

Neymar will be joining Brazil for the first time since his four match suspension following his actions in a game against Columbia in the Copa America Cup tournament, notes the Telegraph UK. However, Lionel Messi will be missing action due to his injuries. He has been sidelined for six to eight months following an injury during their game against Las Palmas.

Argentina will be missing more strikers due to injuries. Apart from Messi, Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez have already been sidelined. But luckily for Argentina, Gonzalo Higuain, Angel Di Maria, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Angel Correa and Nicolas Gaitan will be there to lead the line against their great rivals, as per Sky Sports report.

For Brazil, Kaka will be making into the playing team while Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino are out due to injuries. Chelsea’s forward Willian is in his prime form and Brazil will look forward to count on his abilities in their World Cup Qualifying Campaign.
