The final battles for Wimbledon 2016 is set with some shocking finalists on queue. The Gentlemen’s Singles Final is a repeat of the Queen’s Club while the ladies’ singles final match hails from the Australian Open. Read on and find out our Wimbledon 2016 Final prediction and more.

Andy Murray vs Milos Raonic

More than Murray and Raonic playing out on the grass court, the match will also be a rematch of their coaches. Ivan Lendl who coaches Murray and John McEnroe, who is part of Raonic’s coaching team, were former tennis rivals. Milos Raonic will be facing his first Grand Slam match after winning against Roger Federer. Meanwhile, Andy Murray was lethal on the grass court against Tomas Berdych. While Raonic is looking for his maiden title, Andy is looking at possibly holding a grand slam title once again.

Serena Williams vs Angelique Kerber

World no 1 Serena will be facing the lady who quashed her Grand Slam dreams this year at the Australian Open. On her way to the finals, Angelique also won over Venus Williams. If those are not enough good reasons for Serena to put on her best plays, she’s just one win away from equaling Steffi Graf’s 22 Grand Slam titles.

Wimbledon 2016 Final Prediction

In the Murray vs Raonic match, we Murray claiming the title though not without a fight. Raonic has been constantly improving and though this is his first final match at a Grand Slam, Raonic may need a match or two more to finally claim that long awaited for title.

Serena Williams has something to fight for in her comeback match with Angelique Kerber. If she indeed has learned her lessons from that Australian Open loss then the Wimbledon 2016 title is for her to grab.

For our Wimbledon 2016 Final prediction, we’re looking at the top seeded players, Andy Murray and Serena Williams to take the trophies home.
