The Golden State Warriors have lined up a golden plan to establish superiority over their competitors this NBA season. They plan on recruiting Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant, as his contract ends later this year on July 1.

The Warriors have alot going for them already and now they are threatening to take more away. With the team consisting of  Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Steve Kerr, who is a championship coach, they appear unbeatable. The Warriors, with 44 wins and just 4 losses, are eager to break the Chicago Bulls’ 72-10 record of 1995-96.

Yahoo Sports journalist, Adrian Woinarowski stated the Warriors are not just interested but they are ‘significant forerunners’ to sign Durant if he leaves City Thunder after the season ends.

“We’re all about winning, one thing guys on this team don’t care about is who is getting the shots, or who is scoring. Guys definitely want to play here, play with us. We’re smiling. We’re having fun”
– Draymond Green told The Vertical

Durant is a determined winner and his goal is to become a championship contender at the age of 27. This is the main reason why he is so seduced by the Warriors plan to take him, he knows he can achieve this with the help of his new team mates. Tempting him even more is leader of the pack, Steph Curry who is a pure talent, peaceful soul and has a grounded life. Kevin is forever searching for spiritual people in his life and having someone like Steph under his wing will make the plan even more tempting to leave.

Outside of all the hot teams are the Los Angeles Clippers who are intrigued to recruit Durant on their team. They plan on moving Blake Griffin, their most talented player with Durant within a heartbeat if the opportunity arises.

Nevertheless, Durant right now is part of the Thunders and his slow march to the start of July will be difficult but we know he can make the right decision. The All-Star Weekend is arriving shortly in Toronto and he will be able to test out Steph Curry and Draymond Green as teammates.
