The NBA Playoffs 2016 Championship is here! For the second time around, Warriors vs Cavaliers will be facing each other in the championship.
Will LeBron and the Cleveland Cavaliers avenge their loss last season or will Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors be able to hang on to the championship title?
Dub Nation Makes History
Aside from a successful 73-win record this season, the Golden State Warriors made history as they overcame a 3-1 deficit for the Western Conference Finals.
For their Game 7 win against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Dub Nation made history for their team once again as the 10th team to overcome a deficit and progress towards the championships without a hitch.
Cleveland’s Thirst for a Championship
Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers had a spectacular series against the Toronto Raptors. With six straight wins, LeBron and the team seems to be hankering to end their 52 years of pining for a championship.
Coach Tyronn Lue believes this year is their year. Speaking to ESPN, he said, “This city has been craving a championship. We have the right team and we have the right talent.”
With Game 1 giving the Warriors home court advantage, the Cleveland Cavaliers still hope the tide will turn in their favor this season.
Warriors vs Cavaliers: Where to Watch
