Which character is going to die in “The Walking Dead” season 6 finale?

According to Hollywood Life, we could expect the last few episodes of this season to be “insane.” Is Negan’s arrival really “going to change everything?” The show’s executive producer Gale Anne Hurd hinted that it just could.

In an interview with US Weekly, Hurd said “brutal” twists are about to come as season 6 draws to a close. Is no character really safe from getting killed off? The producer chose to be “cryptic” about future deaths on the show. “No character is safe,” she told US Weekly. “It’s a brutal world out there.”

And it’s about to get more brutal with the arrival of Negan. His arrival “changes the whole dynamic for everyone on the show,” Gurd explained. “He’s a completely different kind of character than we’ve had in the past…honestly, I cannot imagine someone more perfect than Jeffrey Dean Morgan to bring him to life…[Negan is] formidable, but he’s incredibly charismatic…he acknowledges who he is and what he expects of people.”

Negan has not made an appearance on the show this season. But he has already made his presence known. It was previously reported that the character has a habit of killing one member of each group he encounters. So who will be Negan’s next victim in this season? Fans of the comic books know that Negan will kill Glen. But, as Hollywood Life pointed out, the show’s producers have chosen “different routes for the show” in the past so it might just be probable to do so this time around. It was earlier speculated that Negan might kill Abraham, Maggie, Daryl, or Morgan. Either way, this “formidable” character is expected to stick around until season 7.

Who is going to die the season finale? Stay tuned for updates.

You can catch “The Walking Dead” on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
