Christina Aguilera just got back on “The Voice” after giving birth. However, there are rumours that she already wants to quit as a coach because she is jealous of the new couple, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.
Inquistr notes that Aguilera is already fed up on the duo’s shameless public display of affection. The singer allegedly threatens the team that she will be leaving the show if their PDA will not be reprimanded.
The website added that Aguilera might be concerned about her spot on the show because of the No Doubt singer. The two have been sharing the judges chair alternately but Stefani once became a mentor on Team Shelton while the “Reflection” singer was the coach.
And now that Stefani and Shelton are official, the site believes that Aguilera was afraid that she will be permanently replaced by the blonde rock star. “[Christina Aguilera] said that it was her show and gave a really big spiel about how she thinks that Gwen used this Blake thing to try and stay on the show,” a source told Radar Online. “Now people are dreading her return.”
Shelton and Stefani’s relationship benefits the reality show in terms of ratings. However, her permanent spot on “The Voice” as a fifth judge has not been official, but Shelton was suggesting that it must be done so they can spend time together while working.
“It has more to do with just keeping it different by changing it up. As of right now, there are no plans to make it five judges,” source added. The involved individuals have not made their comment yet so readers might want to wait further.
Shelton and Stefani started as “The Voice” co-workers that faced divorce from their respective former spouses. Both offered a shoulder to cry on until the feelings develop, hence, officially announcing that they are in a relationship. The couple has been plagued with different controversies like getting married, raising a family with Stefani getting pregnant but the duo remains mum about all the issues.
