The next season of “The Voice” might be filled with controversies among the panel of judges. It was reported that Adam Levine allegedly despises Miley Cyrus but it appears that Blake Shelton will be stepping into the ring as well. On the other hand, the “Wrecking Ball” singer reportedly said that “he’s gonna regret it.”
Previously, Shelton jokingly said that new judges Cyrus and Alicia keys suck. Even though the country crooner went on to the serious mode by stating that the young pop star will not suck because of her capability to think outside the box, she did not let the joke slide as she revealed on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.”
“Blake made a joke of he knows why I always have my tongue out, it’s because it’s always tired because I never stop talking,” the 23-year old singer told the talk show host. “But he’s gonna regret that when I win,” quotes Inquistr.
Shelton and Levine retained their seats on “The Voice,” while Keys and Cyrus replaced Christina Aguilera and Pharrell Williams. The next season is about to start yet reports have it that Levine and Cyrus are already pissed off at each other.
Cyrus was one of the mentors during the previous season, and Levine is allegedly furious now that she will be sitting on the red chair as a permanent coach.
“They both have short attention spans. They find each other annoying,” a source exclaimed on Celeb Dirty Laundry. “Adam would get agitated when Miley would interrupt him, and she enjoyed getting under his skin.”
Meanwhile, Inquistr notes that the change of coaches aims for higher ratings and attract young people to watch “The Voice.” The show has been more successful when Shelton announced that he’s in a relationship with Gwen Stefani, who temporarily sat on Aguilera’s chair on the past season.
