“The Voice” coach Adam Levine allegedly quits the show after Season 10 because he wants to focus on his family and band. The 37-year-old Maroon 5 frontman is expecting a child with wife, Behati Prinsloo.

The singer addressed the statement of Season 10 contestant Laith Al-Saadi. “We didn’t know that Adam would be leaving to have his family next year, so, I mean, it’s so awesome to have the opportunity to have him as a coach,” the contestant told the site on April 13, notes Entertainment Tonight.

“Oh man,” he exclaimed during his pre-show interview on Monday. “I’m gonna leave here and I don’t even know where I’m going. I don’t think that far ahead. We’ll see.”

When asked about how he would balance his life between work, family and musical career, he said that it will hurt on the brain too much if he overthinks. So far, aside from being “The Voice” coach, his band is working on a new project.

“Not an album right now, but maybe a song. Gotta keep the kids interested. We have something going on right now,” he teased. “Soon, it’s coming. … It’s on the way. It’s in the incubator.” As for the competition, he is allegedly dreaded that Christina Aguilera‘s team could win this season. “I’m worried, and I’m not because A. I would love for a female to win,” the Levine told

“I’m worried, and I’m not because A. I would love for a female to win,” the Levine told E! News. “B. I would love for that female to win because she’s here from the beginning. This girl deserves it. She’s definitely got the best team. I can’t lie about that.”

Aside from Adam Levine, “The Voice” only female coach Aguilera is also rumoured to be quitting on the show because of her attitude towards the show’s lovebirds, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. But the allegations have not been not proven yet.
