If you were waiting for another crossover between “The Vampire Diaries,” and “The Originals,” then that may be happening sooner than you thought.
We recently witnessed Stefan Salvatore having a heart-to-heart conversation with Klaus in a bar at New Orleans. And of course, Klaus helped our Salvatore brother in need and got him out of a sticky situation. This time around, we will get to experience a “mini-crossover” of sorts in “The Originals,” Season 3, episode 17, as noted by Design & Trend. We will be witnessing two original vampires visiting Mystic Falls and given the current situation in town, we sure know that that it isn’t going to be pleasant.
The episode, which will be telecast on April 8, will see Elijah and Finn heading to Mystic Falls following Freya’s kidnapping as shared by TV Line. Elijah and Finn will be facing Matt Donovan, the law enforcer who has declared Mystic Falls a vampire-free town. Interestingly, Joseph Morgan, who portrays the fan-favourite character Klaus, will direct the episode.
In the hour, fans will also see Klaus and Hayley doing some teamwork in order to get to the bottom of Lucien’s secret. And Kol’s temperamental behaviour will become a cause of concern for the witch, Davina.
With all of that going on, we are eager to find out how the meeting between Elijah, Finn and Matt pans out. With “The Originals” now on a small break, the episodes return on April 1. The episode 16, which airs next week, will witness Kol coming face-to-face with Finn. Klaus and Haley will have to deal with news about looming threats. With all the enemies out there gearing up to take down Klaus, things have only just begun to heat up.
You can catch the “The Originals” and “The Vampire Diaries,” mini-crossover on April 8 on The CW at 9 p.m. EST.
