Nina Dobrev got injured during the filming of her latest movie, “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.” Dobrev showed how she is taking acting seriously and suffered some bloody bruises.
The actress shared a collage of her bruised leg on Instagram. She captioned the photo: “Film an action movie they said. It’ll be fine they said. Movies may not be real but this is. The things we do for our craft! But hey, the way I see it, it’s a small price to pay to get to do what you love! Ive always wanted to be in an Action Movie … be careful what you wish for! #NoPainNoGain #ItAintEasyBeingABadass #XXXtheMovie @vindiesel.”
In another photo, she used hashtag “#SheDoesHerOwnStunts.” Dobrev has been known for doing her own stunts in “The Vampire Diaries” and she even once jumped out of an airplane, Teen Vogue wrote.

The 27-year-old flew straight from the Coachella 2016 music festival over the weekend to the set of “xXx 3” movie, Hollywood Life reported. It was earlier reported that the former “The Vampire Diaries” star hung out with Scott Eastwood in the music festival.
Nina Dobrev also got a chance to reunite with former TVD co-star Steven McQueen. TVD fans have been clamouring for Dobrev’s return since she left the show in season six, but the actress has already confirmed that she will not reprise her character as Elena in the CW series.
“xXx: The Return of Xander Cage” is set to debut on January 20, 2017. It also stars Vin Diesel, Ruby Rose, and Samuel L. Jackson.
Meanwhile, Variety reported that Dobrev is also in talks to join Ellen Page in the reboot of Sony’s “Flatliners.” The original 1990 thriller followed a group of medical students who experimented with “near death” experiences that involved past tragedies until the dark consequences began to jeopardise their lives.
Michael Douglas will produce the movie along with Laurence Mark while Ben Ripley wrote the screenplay. The production of “Flatliners” is expected to start in early July.
