Despite the twists and turns on the current season of “The Vampire Diaries,” fans should not lose hope in not seeing their favourite character come back to life or reunite with a former flame. Don’t forget the numerous times wherein a character was killed off and brought back to life.

As reported on Entertainment Weekly, actress Jodi Lyn O’Keefe was asked if there’s a chance that her character Jo will be back on the show.

“That’s a Julie Plec question, I think,” O’Keefe said.

In the November 12 episode, Jo finally left the TVD world after months of being kept in a morgue by her fiance, Alaric Saltzman (played by Matthew Davis). TVD fans noticed that there was vampire blood in her system when she died.

“But I’m not afraid to tell you that many, many people on the Interwebs, as I call it, have pointed out to me that vampire blood did go in my mouth before I passed away. So…,” O’Keefe added.

Could that mean that Jo will return as a vampire? Wait, she’s a witch so she’ll probably return as a “witchpire” or as they call it, a heretic?

Meanwhile, for Steroline shippers, here’s some great news.

In another report, Entertainment Weekly teased that all hope is not lost for Caroline (played by Candice Accola) and Stefan (Paul Wesley).

After it was revealed in the flash-forwards that Caroline is Alaric’s fiancee, Entertainment Weekly gave a major spoiler on the show.

The spoiler reads:

“Don’t panic just yet. Yes, Alaric is the one who put the ring on Caroline’s finger, but that doesn’t mean they’re living happily ever after. In an upcoming flash-forward, we’ll see that perhaps everything isn’t perfect between the couple, so there might be hope for Steroline yet.”

Do you think Jo will be back on TVD? Will Steroline be endgame?
