Two undefeated bantamweight prospects will star in UFC Fight Night this Memorial Day in Las Vegas.

Cody Garbrandt or Thomas Almeida will keep his perfect record clean at UFC Fight Night this Sunday. ESPN says that this is a rare match up because the UFC usually keeps the young and marketable talents in different directions in order for them not to burn into each other. Playing in the co-main event is Renan Barao, former bantamweight champion who will make his debut in the UFC featherweight division. Watch Live Streaming via the UFC Channel.

UFC Fight Night Predictions

Thomas Almeida vs. Cody Garbrandt

According to Fansided, the main event will have Almeida emerging as the winner. Brazilian Almeida, a knockout artist, will take on Garbrant who comes with wrestling skills. Despite Garbrandt’s wrestling power, he does not have enough knockout power to have Almeida on his back. Both of them are powerful but the Brazilian will more likely stop Garbrandt.

Renan Barao vs. Jeremy Stephens

For the featherweight division, Renan Barao moves one weight class up in order to fight against UFC vet Jeremy Stephens. The vet is certainly a powerhouse coupled with wrestling skills but Barao comes with more technical striking skills. Barao’s takedown defense should be beneficial over Stephens’ offense. It is predicted that Barao will have this match.

Tarec Saffiedine vs. Rick Story

The fight of the welterweights Rick Story and Tarec Saffiedine will depend on whether Saffiedine will be able to defend takedown.  Saffiedine has proven that he can prevent takedown attempts and could outstrike rivals from there. Story is a powerful offensive wrestler with added striking skills. Prediction: Saffiedine will win against Story.

Chris Camozzi vs. Vitor Miranda

Middleweight fighters Vitor Miranda and Chris Camozzi will have fun but it is predicted that Camozzi will emerge the winner by narrow decision.

Jorge Masvidal vs. Lorenz Larkin

Prediction: Masvidal will win against Larkin

Josh Burkman vs. Paul Felder

Prediction: Felder via TKO
