Red Star Belgrade holds the advantage as it hosts Ludogorets Razgrad in the second leg of their third qualifying round clash for the UEFA Champions League. The two teams are locked in a 2-2 tie after last week’s first leg encounter. The home team now hopes to use the support of their home crowd to propel them to victory.

The match will be played at Serbia’s Stadion Rajko Mitic on Tuesday, Aug. 2. Kick off is set at 8:30 p.m. local time. Coming into the second leg with two precious goals in the bag, Red Star Belgrade could advance to the Play Off round with a draw. All they need to do is avoid a defeat or a high-scoring draw that goes up to 3-3 or higher.

According to Football News, both teams played dominant seasons in their domestic leagues on their way to the UEFA Champions League qualifiers. In fact, both teams claimed their league titles with 14 point leads over their respective closest rivals in Serbia and Bulgaria.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the third qualifying round, Croatia’s Dinamo Zagreb will be going up against Georgia’s Dinamo Tbilisi in their own second leg clash at 7:00 p.m. CET. Zagreb currently holds a 2-0 advantage after the first leg. At the same time, APOEL hosts Rosenborg at the GSP Stadium in Cyprus. The Norwegians hold a 2-1 lead coming into the second leg.

Azerbaijan’s Qarabağ and Czech Republic’s Plzeň start the day with an early 6:30 p.m CET kick-off. The day’s fixtures will be wrapped up by Dundalk (Republic of Ireland) and BATE (Belarus), who will be facing off at 9:00 p.m. CET. The rest of the second leg matches for the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League will be played on Wednesday, Aug. 3. The live draw for the Play Offs will be held on Friday, Aug. 5.
