Tom Hiddleston “James Bond” rumours continue to spread like wildfire online. The undeniably good-looking Englishman has captivated the hearts of many when he took on the role of Loki in “Thor.” With excellent acting skills to back him up, it’s not difficult to see why fans are rooting for him to be the next “007.”

As the talks intensify, Hiddleston recently admitted that being considered for the role is very flattering. However, the “Kong: Skull Island” actor also denied rumours that execs have already talked to him about the role.

“I think it has come about because in The Night Manager I play a spy, and we all know the iconography of British culture; there is a spy that we all know and his name is James Bond,” the actor said in his recent “The Graham Norton Show” appearance. So people have made the link.”

“No, no one’s talked to me at all,” he clarified.

But despite not having anything concrete to hold on to as of writing, Tom Hiddleston “James Bond” rumours stems from the actor’s love for the franchise. Hiddleston once mentioned that he was a huge fan of the series.

“We all went to see Spectre when we were shooting Skull Island in Hawaii,” he told the Sunday Times in an earlier interview. “I simply love the theme tune, the tropes and the mythology. I love the whole thing. If it ever came knocking, it would be an extraordinary opportunity.”

Hiddleston along with “Thor” co-star Idris Elba, are reportedly being eyed as the next Bond. Other actors who reportedly made it to the list are Tom Hardy and James Norton.

When it comes to accepting challenging roles, Hiddleston has previously claimed that he’s up for it- no wonder fans are easily picturing him as the next world famous spy.

“Part of testing myself is I always wanted to be the kind of actor that could move,” Hiddleston said as reported by Indie Wire. “I didn’t stay in one lane, you know. I like a challenge.”
