Another Marvel standalone flick has been making headlines on the Internet as filming for “Thor 3” has allegedly begun recently. While many are waiting for any spoilers, actor Tom Hiddleston hinted that this will be his last film as Loki. Could this be the death of Thor’s villain?

Hiddleston revealed on The Daily Beast that “Thor 3” will be his last MCU movie. “This will be my last time out of the gate,” he said. “Thor 3 will be cool because I’ve not done it for four years. I love working with Chris [Hemsworth],” the fan-favorite actor explained.

The actor was asked if he will be appearing on another upcoming film “Avengers: Infinity War” and here’s what he said: “I don’t know! Honestly, I don’t know. They haven’t got their ducks in a row yet. They make it up as they go along.”

Since he confirmed that it will be his last film as Loki, there are speculations that Thor’s half- brother might be killed on the third film. However, that remains unconfirmed until the production team decides to address the rumour.

Hiddleston played as the favorite antagonist in the first “Thor” movie and then went on to appear in “The Avengers” and “Thor: The Dark World,” as noted by Collider.

What could be the reason for his exit on the movie? Previously, there was a rumour that he is one of the choices for portraying the next James Bond after Daniel Craig quit the role. Aside from Hiddleston, “Batman Vs. Superman” star Henry Cavill is also rumoured to be on the list.

As for the upcoming film, it has been reported that actor Chris Hemsworth is in Australia for the “Thor 3” shoot. The filming will begin next month and the production team is looking for crew members to work on the anticipated movie.
