Marvel Cinematic Universe brings a lot of possibilities, especially crossovers. Thor 3 director Taika Waititi teased fans that there might a crossover with Doctor Strange.
The upcoming Marvel Movies are already generating excitement among avid fans. Furthermore, the director imparted a clue that the viewers may want to witness in the upcoming flicks.
Digital Spy reported that a photo from the set of Thor 3 left an Easter egg clue regarding the crossover. The snapshot shows actor Chris Hemsworth, who plays as the Viking hero, holding a paper with the address of Doctor Strange written in it.
Those who are familiar with it might know that Doctor Strange’s Greenwich Village pad has another name – “Sanctum Sanctorum.” This left fans wondering if Benedict Cumberbatch will appear in the next Thor film.
The director said that he had no idea about the photo. However, he gave a satisfying answer when the staff asked him about the Thor 3 and Doctor Strange crossover.
“Might be something like that,” said Waititi. “Might be a little tease. Or maybe a tease just for people who wanted to zoom into that photo.”
Meanwhile, Mark Ruffalo will be appearing on the superhero film as well. It might give way to the Planet Hulk Storyline.
On the other hand, there is a rumor that there will be a crossover between Guardians 2 as well. According to YouTube channel The Hashtag Show, an alien race known as Cotati would be the missing link for the possible crossover.
Marvel Wiki describes The Cotati as “an alien race with telepathic abilities that resembles large plants or trees.” How will The Cotati be related to the storyline?
Those who already know the story may recall that they are part of the genealogy of Mantis. The podcast also reveals that Thor and Hulk will come across the “alien race.”
ANN will post more updates regarding Thor 3 and other MCU films in the coming future so stay tuned.
