Ninja Turtles fans were hoping to catch this original character on screen who shot for the latest “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.” However, they will have to be ready to be disappointed as the cameo has been cut off.

Judith Hoag played April O’Neil in the 1990s Turtles movie. She also shot a cameo for “Ninja Turtles 2” alongside Megan Fox. Photos indicated that the two actresses shot a scene together. However, the movie has axed her cameo, it seems.

Cinema Blend states that despite shooting for “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2,” there was not much information about Hoag and her scene. The makers never divulged any details about her role. As a result, fans will never know who she played in the new installment or what her story was.

Hoag is the original O’Neil from the first live action movie. She was later replaced by Paige Turco and now Fox carries forward as the reporter. O’Neil is a reporter who gets mixed up between the Turtles and the Foot Clan. However, her close partnership with the martial arts experts makes her a part of their family.

Even though Hoag couldn’t make it to the final cut, her social media account reveals the fun she had while shooting for her cameo, informs Comic Book Resources. She tweeted moments from the sets which included pizza meals, costume fittings, and others.

According to Collider, even though Hoag is out of the movie, Will Arnett stayed on. The actor reprises his role, Vernon Fenwick, in “Out of the Shadows.” The movie focuses on the Turtles and their conflict with Shredder. Shredder has escaped jail and has partnered with the mad scientist to take over the world. The Turtles are assisted by April O’Neil, Casey Jones, and Fenwick to take down Shredder.

“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows” releases June 9 in Australia. Here’s hoping that the fans won’t be disappointed.
