Teen supernatural series “Teen Wolf” is returning to the TV screens with a season 6.  Although major plot details for the upcoming season are not yet out, things will be known when the series drops its first preview at San Diego Comic Con.

Jeff Davis, the executive producer of “Teen Wolf”, gave a confirmation that the show is coming to this year’s Comic Con. Comic Con will be the platform where the network will debut the first trailer for season 6.

There is no word on the premiere date of “Teen Wolf” season 6 by MTV, so far. However, we can expect some hints on it during the Comic Con, assumes Design & Trend.

The pop convention will take place from Thursday through Sunday, July 21 to 24. Nonetheless, the timetable of events will only be known after July 6 at the earliest. Right now we can do nothing but to wait for the time being. It’s also not clear who from the cast will be present at the event.

Meanwhile, “Teen Wolf” production is currently on sunny season halt. Show-runner Davis told Teen Wolf News,”Yes, we are on a brief hiatus.”

The break, however, does not indicate that they are already done with the production work for the first half of season 6.

Davis added, “We’re picking back up again to do two more weeks of shooting in August.”

However, the filming hiatus has no connection with Dylan O’Brien’s (who plays Stiles Stilinski) accident on the set of “Maze Runner: The Death Cure.”  To date, it is only a rumor.

Davis won’t comment on O’Brien’s current state.  He even did not utter a word on the extent of his participation in season 6. But thankfully, he confirmed that season 6 will feature this young actor.

“Teen Wolf” star Tyler Posey (who plays Scott McCall) promised that season 6 is going to be a good one. Posey explained to E! News:

“‘Teen Wolf’ always tries to push the envelope and do something creative and something we’ve never done before. We’re trying to do that again,”

It was his statement on the red carpet at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards last April.

He added, “I can’t give you much at all. I can’t give you anything, really, but it’s going to be good, I’m directing an episode sometime this season. I don’t know what yet but that’s exciting. I’m producing and it’s just going to be good.”
