“Teen Wolf” is heading to San Diego Comic-Con 2016 and the show will introduce a new cast member.
The MTV hit series is gearing up for SDCC 2016 but the show panel this year will have slightly different lineup.
Showrunner Jeff Davis teased that a new member of the cast will be making a debut in the upcoming SDCC. “There will be at least one person who has never been,” Davis told Teen Wolf News. The producer said he knows who were invited from “Teen Wolf” but he is not sure who have already confirmed.
In the past SDCC, Davis answered fans’ questions along with Tyler Posey (Scott), Holland Roden (Lydia), Dylan O’Brien (Stiles), Dylan Sprayberry (Liam), and Shelley Hennig (Malia).
“Teen Wolf” will grace the conference on its very first day, July 21. The panel is also expected to unveil the first official trailer for season 6. Aside from the trailer, the panel may also offer some hints on season six storyline that may something to do with Stydia, MTV teased.
Davis earlier hinted that season 6 will explore different mythology which most likely involves new creatures and villains. He added that previous character would be making a comeback in the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, fans of the supernatural series are also eager to see if O’Brien will join the panel of “Teen Wolf” at the SDCC, Vine Report noted. There have been speculations that the actor will not reprise his role as Stiles in season 6.
Earlier this year, O’Brien got involved in an accident while filming his upcoming movie “The Maze Runner: The Death Cure”. His injuries caused delay in the filming of the “The Maze Runner” sequel as well as in “Teen Wolf.”
