Another star of “Teen Wolf” is leaving the MTV show – Arden Cho.

The actress, who played Kira Yukimura, has announced her departure via a YouTube video, Entertainment Weekly reported.

“I love Kira Yukimura so much. I love the Yukimura family. I loved my experience on Teen Wolf. I love the cast and crew. It’s been an amazing almost 3-and-a-half years. But unfortunately, it looks like we are wrapped up with Kira’s storyline and she won’t be coming back for season 6,” Cho said in the video.

However, Cho did not explain to her fans why she will not be returning for the upcoming season although she said: “I think sometimes in a show where there’re so many characters, there isn’t always room for everyone.”

At the finale of “Teen Wolf” season 5, Scott left Kira in the desert to repay her debt to the Skinwalkers.

Cho said she wished for more of an “epic ending” for Kira and then hinted a possible return of her character.  “I do wish we would’ve developed a little bit more of her powers and the Skinwalkers. You never know with Teen Wolf. People might come back,” Cho added.

It was previously teased that a major will be killed off in the season five finale while three new villains will also be introduced in Beacon Hills in season six.

Cho joined the cast in a recurring capacity in season three before being promoted to a series regular in season four.

Her exit from “Teen Wolf” is the third major cast departure for the series. Crystal Reed left the show in season three while Tyler Hoechlin exited the MTV hit series in season four, The Hollywood Reporter noted.

In July, “Teen Wolf” was renewed for the sixth season. It is expected to premiere this coming June on MTV. It was reported that premiere of season six has been delayed after “Teen Wolf” star Dylan O’Brien met an accident while shooting “Maze Runner: The Death Cure.”
