“Teen Wolf” season 6 could bring about several changes to the series given what’s happened off camera. Would these events bring about the return of Jackson Whittemore to the MTV series?

“Teen Wolf” executive producer Jeff Davis appeared to be hopeful about this possibility. Davis told Creative 132 that given how the show has changed since Colton Haynes left then he could “be back for at least 10 episodes.” The publication initially asked Davis about his reaction to the actor’s recent revelation.

“I’m proud of him, I’m happy for him. I think he’ll be doing much better now. After being in rehab for his sexuality and feeling so much anxiety. I think letting this out is a good thing … He’s such a good actor, now he’s happier and you’re going to see his best performances yet,” Davis said.

Colton Haynes left the MTV series after two seasons, Us Weekly wrote previously. A source revealed to the publication the reason behind his departure.

“Colton is leaving Teen Wolf. It’s not that he didn’t want to return because he did. It’s that the heads of the show wanted to limit him to only appearing on half the season – 12 episodes, not 24,” the source told the publication. Two months later, Haynes went on to join “Arrow” as Roy Harper, the “handsome, street-savvy, teenager from the Glades,” TV Guide reported in 2012.

However, he left The CW drama at the end of the third season. At the time, fans thought his exit meant a comeback on “Teen Wolf” considering the MTV series was scheduled to premiere on June 29, HollywoodLife wrote then. As it turns out, Haynes needed time away from the spotlight to focus on his personal health.

Ultimately, the actor bounced back into the limelight as he publicly recognised his sexuality. Hence, Davis stated the best is yet to come for Haynes and his fans.

Colton Haynes reprised his role as Arsenal on “Arrow” last February. Moreover, fans can expect to see more of him in season 5.
