A new image of Dylan O’Brien emerged and he looks different from the Teen Wolf season 6 star fans know and love.
Fans feared the worst when news of Dylan O’Brien’s accident on the set of Maze Runner 3 came out.
First, it raised concerns about his health. Second, it alarmed the fans eagerly awaiting the return of Teen Wolf season 6. Fortunately, updates announced he was out of danger. However, it also meant he needed to take a break from filming. Hence, his absence in some episodes of the supernatural series’ final season. Yet showrunner Jeff Davis gave an assurance his character remains critical to the story.
A photo previously shared online by an avid fan showed a different look for the actor after his accident. Hence, it led to speculation his new do was part of his character’s role in Teen Wolf season 6. Nevertheless, it proved the actor was in good shape four months into his recovery.
This time around, Dylan O’Brien debuted yet another look. Moreover, it is a big departure from his character Stiles on Teen Wolf. The 25-year old sported a sleek hairstyle matched by an impressive build. The photo featured his character in the upcoming movie American Assassin. He plays the role of Mitch Rapp, a young counter-terrorism agent.
The film adaptation of Vince Flynn’s bestseller includes Michael Keaton as Stan Hurley, the Cold War veteran in charge of Rapp. The rest of the cast includes Sanaa Lathan (CIA Deputy Director Irene Kennedy), Shiva Negar (Turkish agent), and Taylor Kitsch (a crooked operative). The plot revolves around an investigation of attacks targeting the military and civilians.
According to HollywoodLife, the official Twitter page for the movie already posted a warning for fans of Dylan O’Brien who identify the actor with his Teen Wolf character.
