“Maze Runner: The Death Cure” has just been postponed. The film’s star, Dylan O’Brien, earlier met an accident on the set. Shooting for the movie was cancelled first to give him time to fully recover. But what about his other project, “Teen Wolf” Season 6? Will the upcoming season be delayed as well?

According to Entertainment Weekly, Fox recently confirmed that the next “Maze Runner” instalment will not hit theatres until 2018. Should “Teen Wolf” fans really brace for a similar delay? Are they even considering cancelling Season 6 altogether? Or will they just choose to replace the actor in the meantime?

According to Design and Trend, the sixth season of “Teen Wolf” will not be cancelled. Fans can still expect O’Brien’s character, Stiles, to be part of the next season. The show’s executive producer Jeff Davis also assured fans that O’Brien will not be replaced. “We are not replacing Stiles,” Davis earlier told Creative 132.

“Dylan O’Brien will be back to film soon. [But] he can’t do any stunts,” he added. “[We have been] talking with Wes Ball, the producer of ‘The Maze Runner.’ [And] we hope to get him back on ‘Teen Wolf ‘to film, while being injured.” Davis also said the actor himself wants to continue filming. “The thing is, he wants to film,” the show runner said. “He’s in perfect condition, but he’s just not doing fine enough to do any stunts.”

However, Davis did say they are willing to postpone production if need be. “If Wes decides to not risk anything, we would delay production until he is fine to film again,” the producer said.

What do you think? Do you think production should be put on hold first to give the actor time to recover? Or do you think the hit MTV series  can really go on without Dylan O’Brien?
