Could Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris be engaged? Perhaps not, but that does not stop the Scottish DJ from getting close with the “Wildest Dreams” singer’s parents.
In a report by US Weekly, the magazine reveals that Harris spent time with Swift’s parents — mom Andrea and dad Scott — to celebrate the singer’s 26th birthday. Based on the magazine’s assessment, Harris’ weekend with the Swifts earned him some “major brownie points”. The website’s conclusion is based on the observation that T. Swift’s mom appeared to like Harris.
The magazine shares some photos of Andrea Swift and Harris talking to each other and enjoying a laugh or two.
US Weekly chronicles that Swift’s birthday started on December 13 when her family celebrated with her over lunch at her home in Beverly Hills. The gathering was followed later that night by a birthday bash at Jimmy Iovine’s home in Malibu. Iovine is a record producer and known as the person behind Interscope Records.
Meanwhile, Seventeen notes that the weekend marks a reunited TayVin (what the couple is called together) since both have been away from each other for months due to Swift’s “1989” album tour and Harris’ own busy schedule.
The website also shares photos of the two enjoying the party at Iovine’s house and posing with Santa Clause.

According to People, Swift currently recorded her “1989” concert tour film during her performance in Sydney last November 28 — the final output of which will be released on December 20 on Apple Music.
Swift currently has seven nominations for the 2016 Grammy Awards including Record of the Year, Album of the Year for “1989”, Song of the Year for “Blank Space”, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and Best Music Video.
