DigitalSpy cited Leto’s interview with Total Film wherein he revealed that the most infamous villain of all is the devil. “The only villain who may be more infamous is the devil.” The actor also talked about how he enjoyed playing the iconic character. “The Joker is an icon, a legend, the baddest of the bad and seems to be having the most fun. I knew I was going to have to dive deep and go to a place I had never gone before,” said Leto.
However, Movie Pilot has another more powerful villain in mind than the Joker. The site reported that the main villain among the “Suicide Squad” members is not Joker, but it is actually the Enchantress.
Movie Pilot cited director David Ayer’s recent talk wherein he discussed the creatures that the squad will encounter in the movie. According to Ayer, the creatures are “weird and dangerous” and they are also wearing military uniforms.
Movie Pilot then linked the creatures to ones in the “Suicide Squad” trailer. In the teaser, Enchantress (Cara Delevingne) was seen inside the White House. The site speculated that Enchantress could’ve been in the White House while Amanda Waller was talking to some military officers. This led to speculations that Enchantress could have infiltrated the Executive House and transformed the US military to dangerous creatures that Ayer was talking about.
Meanwhile, the Motion Picture Association of America or MPAA has classified “Suicide Squad” as PG-13, according to Box Office Mojo. The classification is for “sequences of violence and action throughout, disturbing behavior, suggestive content, and language.”
The Warner Bros. movie also stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, and Joel Kinnaman.
“Suicide Squad” will roll in theaters on August 5.
