Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry might be the Most Valuable player (MVP) for 2015, but he has a past that he would instantly like to forget.
Stephen’s father Dell Curry was also a NBA legend. He is Charlotte Hornet’s all time leading scorer with 9,839 career points and 929 three point field goals. No wonder Stephen is considered as one of the best shooters the game has ever seen.
A YouTube video which just surfaced on Fox Sports shows father and son in a rather contrasting roles. They were a part of a ’90s Burger King Commercial which will instantly make you smile.
The advertisement starts off with an adorable interaction between father and son. Dell starts off by asking Steph what he wants to be when he grows up and little boy Steph says:
“I want to be a basketball player.”
Now Steph asks Dell how he got so tall and what it takes to be a great basketball player. Dell suggests that he should be “hungry” for success among other things.

Curry and teammate Klay Thompson set the NBA record for combined threes in the 2013-14 season with 484, to which the NBA decided to call the pair the “Splash Brothers.”
