“The Force Awakens” ended with a devastating scene where Kylo Ren killed his own father, Han Solo. But a scoop claimed that “Star Wars 8” will reprise Harrison Ford’s role. The producers will allegedly talk about it on “Star Wars Celebration.”

The celebration will take place on Sunday, July 17 at the Excel London Exhibition Centre. According to Coming Soon, this is Lucasfilm’s love letter to their fans.

Moreover, Lucasfilm Story Group’s Pablo Hidalgo and president Kathleen Kennedy will host the event. Meanwhile, “Rogue One” co-producer Kiri Hart and “Star Wars 8” director Rian Johnson joins the panel.

On the other hand, the filmmakers are yet to confirm if Han Solo will be alive on Episode VII. However, there will be a “Han Solo” spinoff which might debut on May 25, 2018.

Chris Miller and Phil Lord will direct the standalone anthology. According to another Coming Soon article, it will be about the life of a younger Han Solo. Notably, Kylo Ren’s father was a smuggler, thief, and scoundrel until Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi met him in the cantina at Mos Eisley.

Father and son Lawrence and Jonathan Kasdan are in-charge of the screenplay. The 26-year old actor Alden Ehrenreich plays as the lead character.

In other news, “Star Wars Celebration” might unveil the upcoming trailers for Episode VII and “Rogue One” as well. Notably, The License Expo event in Las Vegas reportedly leaked “Star Wars 8” and “Rogue One” trailers.

Avid “Star Wars” fans are looking forward to attending the event to check if the rumor is true. On the other hand, plot rumors continue to invade the Internet.

First, Stormtrooper Larry claims that he has the script for Episode VII. The blogger revealed that Luke Skywalker will reveal the secrets of the Jedi.

The online journalist wrote that “Luke tells Rey that the Jedi Order had been searching for The One (the reincarnation of the original founder of the Jedi) for millennia.”

“When they found Anakin Skywalker and thought that he would bring balance to The Force, the Jedi were ‘deceived’ and the Clone Wars were the result.”

The avid fan and writer revealed more than the stated one, claiming that Rey’s power came from a strange tree. Wait for further details as “Star Wars 8” premieres on Dec. 15, 2017.
