“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” released a new trailer as Thanksgiving treat to its fans.

The clip offered a glimpse of villain Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver, as he commands an army of storm troopers to war.

The minute-long trailer starts with a close-up of Kylo Ren and then zooms in on the Darth Vader-obsessed antagonist aboard a spaceship, then the voice of Supreme Leader Snoke’s can be heard on the background: “There’s been an awakening. Have you felt it?”

Kylo Ren answered, “Yes,” as he was showed leading storm troopers off a battleship.

The footage also featured Rey (Daisy Ridley) in fear as Kylo Ren’s lightsaber is inches away from her face.

People magazine wrote that the new teaser hinted that the Star Wars’ newest heroes will do all they can to defeat Kylo Ren.

An ominous voice is then heard saying: “Even you have never faced such a test,” while Kylo Ren is seen standing in the rain holding a menacing lightsaber.

People emphasized that fans will have to wait though for the film’s release to find out exactly what the test is all about.

Even “The Force Awakens” star John Boyega, who played Finn, admitted to E! News that have not seen the final cut of the movie.

“I haven’t see the movie. I haven’t seen the movie cut together. So it will be fun when I finally do,” Boyega told E! News at the Film Independent Spirit Awards Nominations press conference this week.

Meanwhile, Daily News noted that Luke Skywalker is still missing in the new “Star Wars 7” trailer. The jedi hero has yet to appear in any trailer or promotional materials of the upcoming sequel.

According to Daily News, the latest movie clip has been viewed more than 1,500,000 times since it was posted on social media Thursday morning.
