Great stunts and a spooky villain are what fans could expect in the upcoming Spiderman Homecoming movie.
Director Jon Watts has teased on Instagram what is about to come to silver screens in July 2017. Watts shared a video of Tom Holland while filming the Marvel movie. The clip showed the actor as Peter Parker sitting on a box surrounded by a green screen where a flickering shadow appeared.
Fans commented that it could be a flashback of Uncle Ben’s death, while others said it is definitely Vulture on the background. It was earlier announced that Michael Keaton will be playing the role of Vulture in Spiderman Homecoming. Some of Watts’ followers also guessed that the shadow could be The Tinkerer. Actor Michael Chernus will portray the role. Other villains rumored to appear in the movie are The Shocker and Carnage.
Holland, on the other hand, shared another video on set of his stand-alone film. In the clip, the actor showed off some of his Spidey moves. At first, Holland was seen watching as stuntman Bobby Hanton demonstrates a trampoline-assisted flip. Holland then does the Spiderman acrobatic move himself, and it was really awesome.
Although both videos do not offer much on what the plot of the movie would be, it somehow suggests that it is going to be great. The production of Spiderman Homecoming is currently underway in Atlanta. Robert Downey Jr. will reprise his role as Tony Stark/Iron Man and Marisa Tomei as Aunt May. Zendaya, Donald Glover, Kenneth Choi, Hannibal Buress and Tony Revolori will appear in the movie. Other cast members are as follows: Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Michael Barbieri, Martin Starr, Isabella Amara, Jorge Lendenborg Jr., J.J. Totah, Bokeem Wodbine, Michael Mando and Abraham Attah.
Meanwhile, the official trailer for Spiderman Homecoming is expected to drop later this year. Marvel released a teaser at the San Diego Comic-Con in July.
Spiderman Homecoming will hit theaters on July 7, 2017.
