Former Spice Girl Mel B confessed to being in talks with the other Spice Girls for a reunion. Melanie Brown revealed this and much more on a recent podcast with “Allegedly.”
Brown also explained that the girl band is getting close to an agreement on the possible reunion. Fans have been treated to sudden glimpses of the entire band coming together in the past years. For instance, Spice Girls went on a world tour in 2007 and also performed at the opening ceremony of the London Olympics, reveals Woman’s Day but that’s it so far.
“It’s a never-ending question,” said Mel B. “The thing is we are in talks with each other, closely about this reunion. So until there’s something official to say there’s no point in saying anything,” she added.
According to Inquisitr, while most of them are on board for a reunion, Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham is staying away. After the Spice Girls, Victoria concentrated on building her own fashion empire and today she is a leading name in the industry. Beckham, known for her frosty demeanour, is allegedly not interested in this reunion. When asked about her, Mel B revealed that though Beckham is down to earth, she can come across as a bit nasty at times.
“She’s just a little bit of a b*tch to people,” explained Mel B. “But she’s very down to earth, with a great sense of humour. I think between the five of us, we’re all b*tches,” she added.
The 20th anniversary of Spice Girls’ debut single “Wannabe” is on the horizon. Does it mean that there will be a reunion, but without Posh Spice? If it happens, it won’t be a reunion in a real sense, though. “Until there are tour dates to announce, then there’s no point in talking about it until it actually happens,” said Mel B.
