As the month swiftly moves along leading up to the MWC to be held on February, rumors and leaks are gaining momentum with the recent one being that of the Sony Xperia C6.

While tech aficionados are keeping an eye out out for information on the flagship Xperia Z6, images of what is believed to be the Sony Xperia C6 have been leaked online. The most striking feature of the handset is that it appears to have no bezels on the side and only the metallic frame is visible, as noted by Android Headlines. A 2.5D curved glass seems to be sitting atop the display further contributing to the bezel-less appearance of the smartphone. The device features on-screen buttons and is splashed in the current favorite color – Rose Gold.

From the images it appears that the Sony Xperia C6 may not possess a phablet sized 6-inch display like its predecessor C5 Ultra which was launched back in August. Reports suggest that the Xperia C6 might arrive with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display. The device will boast of a metal chassis giving it a complete premium look and “a dedicated camera shutter button.” The handset may house a MediaTek’s Helio X10 64-bit octa-core processor (2.0GHz) under its hood.

According to report on PhoneArena, while there is no word about the RAM, it could quite possibly have 3GB RAM onboard since even most mid-range devices now boast of the same. As noted by the site, with the Xperia C series positioned as the “selfie” phones, it won’t be wrong to expect this mid-ranged device arriving strapped with a really neat front-facing camera.

With MWC happening next month, fans can keep their fingers crossed to witness the arrival of the Xperia C6 in all its glory at the Sony event.
