The “Seven Year Switch” had its finale yesterday. The four couples made up their minds about staying together or calling it quits and the tedious episode was full of twists and turns and predictable decisions.
“Seven Year Switch” saw the troubled couples switching their partners for two weeks as a part of a social experiment of sorts. After their reunion, they had to decide whether it made sense to work on their relationship and stay together or if it was a good idea to go separate ways.
Predictably, all of them stayed together. Here are some toughest moments from the episode.
Brad and Tallena’s cry fest continued in the finale. When Brad was asked if he is okay, he replied in the negative, states Popsugar. “Not really. I don’t think I can talk right now, I’m just going to bawl,” said Brad.
Tim got frustrated as babies popped up during their date night talk, reveals Daily Mail. “Can we stop talking about the f****** baby!” asked the chap.
Later in their conversation, Tim’s responses made Jackie realise that he was not on the same page when it came to starting a family. When they got deeper in the talk, he replied, “’I just know that it’s what you want, so I want it.” Jackie disagreed. “That’s not the right answer. You don’t just have a baby with someone because they want to … you have to want it too,” replied Jackie.
Cassie and Ryan too were having their troubled moments. News.com.au states that Cassie felt Ryan hadn’t grown. “I love you more than anything. I just want to tell you how much I want to commit to our relationship. So you got all of me,” said Ryan.
Then there is Jason and Michelle. Popsugar informs that Michelle thought that things weren’t well with the couple. For a moment, she had us believe that she was walking off. “I’m not going to sit here and say it’s all peachy and everything’s been fixed because I don’t feel that way yet. We’re definitely working towards things,” she said, “but if we ever get to the stage where there’s no hope, then we’ll part,” she added. But it didn’t happen and they stayed together.
All the couples decided to stay together in the end. But it’s not the end yet. There is one “Seven Year Switch” reunion set to happen. All four couples will meet each other for the first time.
Here’s hoping for some fireworks then.
