Bankroll Fresh, the rapper from Atlanta, was shot dead on Friday. The Fulton County Medical Examiner confirmed his death.

Trentavious White, also known as Fresh, was shot outside Street Execs Studio. He later died at a local hospital. More than 50 shell casings were collected outside the studio, which is located in Northwest Atlanta.

Atlanta police confirmed that they were called to the scene, where they noticed a “large crowd of people fleeing.” According to officers, there was no information available on suspects or the motive, says PEOPLE.

“Shortly after the units arrived, it was learned that at least one victim was shot and was transported away from the scene in an unknown vehicle,” police said. They also said that the victim died of gun shot wounds at Hughes Spalding hospital.

The neighbour association however, was not ready for any comment when requested. The residents living in the area have been concerned about the studio as it attracts violence, says NBC affiliate WXIA.

There have been massive repercussions to the death of 28-year-old Fresh. He used to work closely with 2 Chainz, who was in shock, says Billboard.

“Senseless deaths we just got to stop it, I’m speaking up now,” he said.

Others in the hip-hop community expressed sadness. “We lost a good one. Rest peacefully lil homie Bankroll u gon always be family,” Lil Wayne wrote on Twitter.

Fresh had also worked with Future and Wiz Khalifa, while recording several albums of his own. Known for “Hot Boy,” his latest album “Life of a Hot Boy 2” was released less that a year before he was killed.

In February 2016, he released a video for his song “Poppin’ Shit.”
