Following Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, the company is planning to launch Samsung Galaxy C7. The handset is subject to rumours and was recently spotted on AnTuTu.
GSM Arena notes that the much-awaited handset, Samsung Galaxy C7 is now listed on GFXBenchmarking website. Both websites, AnTuTu and GFX share the same specs of the device.
According to the GFX listing, Samsung Galaxy C7 SM-C7000 will sport a 5.5-inch display offering screen resolution of full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device comes with support for 5-finger gesture. The listing also stated that Qualcomm Snapdragon (Cortex A53) will power the device and the processor will be paired with 4 GB RAM. The device provides 32 GB of internal storage but 25 GB is reserved for the users.
The device will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and supports Adreno 506 GPU. However, there is no information available regarding its battery and expandable memory.
The benchmarking website also noted that Samsung Galaxy C7 SM-C7000 would have 16 MP autofocus camera with an LED flash at the rear panel. An 8-MP camera is also included on the front panel for selfies.
As for connectivity front, the GFX listing stated that the device has features such as Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and WiFi. Apart from that other features like accelerometer, gyroscope, light, proximity and pedometer sensors are also included.
Previously, Samsung Galaxy C5 (SM-C5000) was also spotted on the benchmarking site. But information regarding the launch of the C-series smartphone is not known yet. However, Zauba listing notes that the C7 smartphone will cost around $200.
Since these smartphones are making its appearances on benchmarking websites, it is expected that the handsets would soon make its way to the market. Until then we have to wait for Samsung to make its official announcement.
