The former Bantamweight Champion, Ronda Rousey, suffered a major jolt to her career when the “Preacher’s Daughter”, Holly Holm claimed the UFC 193 title in Australia back in November. Holm not only crashed her out of the comptetion but also managed to punch some serious blows which proved quite devastating for Rousey.

The damage was so severe that Rousey was given a six-month medical suspension by the UFC which will stand unless she passed a head CT scan.

If not UFC why not SNL? Well, according to Forbes, Ronday Rousey is all set to host “Saturday Night Live” on Jan. 23. The report also added that Selena Gomez will join the MMA fighter as the night’s musical guest.

Rousey did talk about her current emotional state and also on her latest involvement with SNL.

Forbes quoted her as saying, “I’m just really [expletive] sad.”

Earlier, UFC President Dana White had commented on a potential rematch between Rousey and Holm. White was quoted as saying, “If we didn’t make the Holm/Rousey rematch, me and [UFC chairman] Lorenzo [Fertitta] would have to lose our promoter’s license. That’s next.”

She also relayed her thoughts on a potential rematch with Holly Holm.

“I need to come back. I need to beat this chick. Who knows if I’m going to pop my teeth out or break my jaw or rip my lip open. I have to [expletive] do it.”

As per the Sport Illustrated reports, “The Extra Mustard staff got together and guessed at what sketches SNL is likely to put the actress and MMA star into.”

The possibilities are “Hillary Ronda Clinton,” “UFC Superfans” where she will have supporters singing her praises, “Selena Gomez’s New Bodyguard” which might see Ronda protecting her from Justin Bieber or she might do a “Star Wars” thing.

We are eagerly waiting to see Rousey host the 41-year-old SNL show. However, there is no word from Rousey whether she wants to direct her career towards the entertainment business. She didn’t talk about her retirement plans and wants to comeback to UFC.
