Rihanna and Drake were allegedly dating in the past. However, the duo is still intrigued by many especially when they released their recent hit collaboration entitled “Work.” Could this be the start of a rekindled romance?
While their relationship might only be for the sake of music, RiRi expressed her gratitude for the “Hotline Bling” rapper because of the success that “Work” has been achieving. “He’s very intelligent, and so I trust him a lot with his direction,” she told Vogue, as cited by Music News.
“Doing a collaboration with him, you know it’s going to be great. Everything he does is so amazing.” The singer added that the fact that they know each other pretty well made their collaboration successful.
“He’s so talented that you kind of just trust that it’ll be right. And plus, we know each other, so I know that whatever he writes is going to be honest, and it’s going to make sense to where I’m at in my life. That’s the difference. We know each other,” Rihanna said.
This is the third time that the duo worked together for a song. In the past, the pair has joined forces for 2010’s “What’s My Name?” and 2011’s “Take Care.”
As for their solo careers, Drake is about to release his new album called “Views From The 6” soon. On the other hand, Rihanna has been busy touring across North America for her headliner concert “Anti” where she will be heading to Europe after the North American leg.
