There are some best deals lined up for this Christmas. Gaming fans are in for a treat for the holiday season as there are so many options to choose from. The deals and the console prices will surely tempt many to get some even for themselves.

Many still believe that Playstation 4 is what they should go for as the Sony product is one of best marketed and popular gaming consoles of all time. But Microsoft doesn’t want to let go of this opportunity to pose some competition to its rival.

According to Forbes, “Microsoft announced that its myriad holiday bundles would be getting a $50 price-cut, bringing the cheapest Xbox One bundle in line with the current PS4 bundle deals.”

Now, both Xbox One and PS4 start at $299. But which one to go for?

As per reports, only two bundles have really good deals which were announced by Sony on Black Friday for Playstation 4. The sale prices were cut down from $349 to $299. The two bundles are, “Star Wars: Battlefront” bundle and “Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection” bundle.

There are other bundles too, but they remain costly. Also, the options are quite less. The list includes “Destiny: The Taken King” PS4 Bundle ($399),”Call of Duty: Black Ops III” PS4 Bundle ($379) and “Star Wars: Battlefront” Deluxe Bundle ($399).

The Xbox, on the other hand, offers a lot more options at $299 which can be great Christmas gifts. Apart from other games, the list includes Xbox One “Gears of War: Ultimate Edition” Bundle and Xbox One “The Lego Movie Videogame” Bundle.

The next tier which comes with a 1 TB Hard Disk, prices down from $399 to $349, includes Xbox One 1TB Holiday Bundle (Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Rare Replay and a full-game download of Ori and the Blind Forest), Xbox One “Rise of the Tomb Raider” Bundle, Xbox One with Kinect Bundle, Xbox One “Fallout 4” Bundle, Xbox One Limited Edition “Forza Motorsport 6” Console (Nearly sold out), Xbox One “Madden NFL 16” Bundle and Xbox One “FIFA 16” 1TB Bundle.

The Elite Tier priced at $349 includes Xbox One Limited Edition “Halo 5: Guardians” Bundle and Xbox One Elite Bundle.

Now comparing both the consoles we can conclude that Xbox offers a lot more options than Playstation 4. But there are few reasons why people still go for PlayStation 4 as the console offers more horsepower. Getting one for Christmas will be a treat.

Forbes quotes, “It’s simply the more powerful of the two, and that means that especially when it comes to cross-platform games, you’ll often see the better performance, resolution, frame-rate, and so forth on the PS4.”
