Another character to return to the show is the wife of Michael Scofield played by Sarah Wayne Callies. The actress has been asked recently to reprise his role, but did not immediately commit because of her tight schedule. Nonetheless, things worked out well in the end, and the actress will be soon be seen on the show

The role of Callie as Dr. Sara Tancredi, is coming back in a different light. In the show’s final run, it ended with the death of Scofield. Which means it was easy to understand if Tancredi will move on with her life. In the upcoming revival, Tancredi will be married to another guy played by Mark Feuerstein.

Aside from its original cast, two additional new characters will be included in the show. Rick Yune is going to play the role of Ja, a Korean identity thief, while August Prew will be Whip, the funny but dangerous man.

According to Fox CEO and co-chairman Dana Fox, the tv series will begin with an international setting, and will give answer to the question surrounding the supposed death of Scofield in the original run.
