Paige and Emily may finally rekindle their romance, and probably give a brief of a happy ending for the series, Pretty Little Liars Season 7 spoilers reveal that Lindsey Shaw will reprise her role in the show.

Fans may remember Paige going to California to be with her family back in Season 5, and also to escape when “A” intensified the harassments, Bustle noted. She left behind Emily Fields who went on to find comfort in the arms of Sara Harvey.

However, that relationship didn’t last long following a betrayal. She also dated Alison, which could further complicate things between Emily and Paige when she does return.

“Though details of Paige’s return are being kept under wraps — along with the identity of Charlotte’s killer, among other lingering mysteries — it’s safe to assume her reunion with the Liars will be a complicated one,” said TVLine.

According to Pretty Little Liars Season 7 spoilers from The Hollywood Reporter, the actress will be appearing in two episodes starting on the eighth installment. Of course, her return wasn’t at all surprising considering that showrunner Marlene King has been hinting about bringing back Lindsey Shaw to the series.

In an interview with Zap2it, the executive producer as she noted the chemistry between Paige and Emily.

“Emily has not had a lot of success with women so far,” she said in August of last year.

Alsolso, at the end of Pretty Little Liars season 6, Emily was already unattached so maybe King was paving the way for the romance with Paige?

In other Pretty Little Liars Season 7 spoilers, Drew Van Acker (Jason DeLaurentis) will also be returning to Rosewood, along with Noel and Jenna, which is consistent with Marlene King’s announcement that this would be a time for homecomings.

“There’s going to be a very awkward family dinner with his aunt and his sister.” the showrunner told Entertainment Weekly.
