As fans near the highly-awaited premiere of Pretty Little Liars Season 7, there’s been a lot of buzz surrounding the fate of one of the main characters—Ashley Benson’s Hanna Marin. In the Season 6 wrapper, a yet-unveiled character captured Hanna and was about to drop her unconscious body off the bell-tower.

What happened next remains a mystery, but viewers speculate that Hanna actually gets killed off in the new season. According to Seventeen, the new trailer for Pretty Little Liars Season 7 shows Hanna’s lifeless body being dragged down a corridor. Aria (Lucy Hale) receives a text message that reads, “The bell tolls for Hanna.” And it does.

To fire things up, Freeform has been promoting the seventh outing of the Pretty Little Liars series with the hashtag #SaveHanna, indicating that the blonde’s life is at risk. Hanna’s been in several precarious situations in the past—she was hit by a car, thrown in jail and trapped in a dollhouse. Has her luck finally run dry?

The Liars will be facing an even bigger threat in Pretty Little Liars Season 7. Speaking to MTV, Lucy Hale reveals that the new villain is “smarter and edgier and deadlier.”

“The stakes are definitely a lot higher. It’s not, ‘I’m going to expose your secrets.’ It’s, ‘I’m going to kill you if you don’t give me what I want,’” shares Hale.

PLL creator Marlene King adds that this season’s “Big Bad” will avenge the death of a particular person, stopping at nothing until the person responsible will pay.

“[The Big Bad] will kill people to get that answer,” King reveals. It looks like Hanna’s prospects just got worse.

Despite the seemingly unfavorable odds, it seems Hanna will still be part of the show throughout the Season 7.  It is likely that Aria, Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Emily (Shay Mitchell) will be able to #SaveHanna in the bell-tower. Moreover, TV Line reports that a wedding will take place. With Hann and Jordan engaged, they are presumed to be the Rosewood couple exchanging marriage vows in Pretty Little Liars Season 7.
