The following Pokémon Go cheats is applicable to iOS users only. Thus, if you’re an Android user, you may opt to read these Pokémon Go cheats and tricks instead.

Back to iOS users, here is one of those Pokémon Go cheats that would not get you banned yet will still allow you to explore and hunt Pokémon from your seat.

No 1. Requirement: Jailbroken iPhone

For this Pokémon Go cheat to work, you must have an iPhone that can use apps outside of the Apple Store. For steps on how to jailbreak your iPhone, find the steps here. Of course, jailbreaking your iPhone will cause you any phone warranty you currently have. So jailbreak at your own risk.

Launch and install

Pokémon Go can determine if your phone is jailbroken. Thus, to hide the fact that your phone’s iOS has been tampered with, you can do the following.

Launch Cydia which is a directory for apps which can be used on a jailbroken iPhone. Add the Unlimapps link to the source. After that, install Poke++.

Play Pokémon Go While Sitting

Now you can play Pokémon Go even while you’re sitting. Through Poke++ you will also be able to avoid the frequent Pokémon Go app goes through. Despite servers crashing, you will still be able to enjoy the game. After using Poke++, you will see a joystick which you can drag to move your character. If you find your character too slow, you can choose 2x or 4x the normal speed.

Using a joystick is not the only way to control your character. While Game N Guide reports using the joystick made the exploring slower, another method may make it easier for you. “Tap to Walk” allows you to simply tap in the direction you want your character to go.

There is also another option called “Patrol” where the character moves on its own to a specified location. You have to first determine a location where you want the character to go and then select Patrol.

While this Pokémon Go cheat may not help you reach level 40 that faster, it will help you explore more freely when you simply cannot venture to go out.
