Leonardo DiCaprio has to win the Oscar this year. That will be the most logical thing after the Globes, SAG and BAFTAs. With everyone rooting for DiCaprio, the pressure is on so much that now, a videogame has been created to help “The Revenant” actor win his Golden statue.

The new game is titled, “Leo’s Red Carpet Rampage.” Its players help the actor get his hand on the “elusive prize,” the Oscar. This game is created by The Line animation studio and features a number of levels and hurdles in DiCaprio’s race to win the trophy. The Next Web explains that the game is an 8-bit browser game that has the actor trying to outrace everyone on the red carpet to win his prize. Some levels require Leo to cross hurdles which includes other fellow actors like Matt Damon, Michael Fassbender and Eddie Redmayne.

Then there are other levels where he has to tackle challenges based on his movies, roles and career milestones like the “Titanic” iceberg. Then there are award moments and controversies too. For example in another level, he trips over Lady Gaga on the red carpet and also tries to hunt for the only black nominee at the Oscars, informs The Next Web.

According to NZ Herald, there are also many mini games in “Leo’s Red Carpet Rampage.” One of them has gamers trying to get DiCaprio to crawl up to his car. The arcade-style platform game has a mocked-up Leonardo figure running along the red carpet towards an Oscars statue by simultaneously tapping the G and H keyboard buttons.

US Weekly explains that the game is funny and starts with a tux-clad mock up Leo saying, “Hi, I’m Leonardo DiCaprio, and I really need to win the Oscar! Let’s do this!” The 88th Academy Awards is slated to air on ABC on Sunday, February 28. We hope Leonardo DiCaprio actually picks up the statue this time.
