“Orange is the New Black” Season 4 welcomes its newest inmate as celebrity chef Judy King enters Litchfield Penitentiary. Series cast actor Blair Brown will play King.

Netflix renewed the series for three more seasons. The audience caught a glimpse of King’s face as the credits rolled at the end of season 3, Cinemablend reported.

Fans are eager to find out what King’s character brings to the series. Cinemablend shared what Brown had to say about her.

“I think a lot of people think, ‘Oh, she cooks, so she’s like Martha Stewart.’ ‘Oh, she’s Southern. She’s like Paula Deen,'” she said.

Brown added, “She’s actually Judy King, a creation of Jenji [Kohan] and the writers. She’s slightly appalling and very good and very cheerful and probably fairly amoral. And it’s interesting to watch because she’s so other than anybody else in prison. And of course, Judy’s greatest ally when she comes in is Poussey Washington.”

Christian Today revealed Poussey is a fan of the celebrity chef. Cinemablend also noted how Poussey stayed glued to the TV as King’s insider trading case took place.

Following the end of season 3,  Samira Wiley who plays Poussey, teased about her character’s potential romance in the coming season.

“Orange is the New Black” season 4 also promises new storylines for the other inmates of Litchfield Penitentiary, Christian Today added.

In an interview with ABC Australia a few days earlier, actor Yael Stone, who plays Lorna Morello, mentioned about “big changes”.

“So when I think of the show and I think of some of the story lines that are coming up, I think people are going to feel like there’s some big changes for the family. There’s some big beautiful storylines and Jenji (Kohan, the show’s creator) is not afraid to write funny or write from the heart and she’s certainly done that for this season, it think it’ll be very powerful for people.”

Season 4 returns on June 17, 2016.
