With Oppo R9 and R9 Plus gearing up for a launch tomorrow, there is a good idea about what to expect thanks to all the leaks and teasers.

The manufacturer is launching the device in its home country and the rumours have built up to the D-day revealing more than what the company would like its fans to know before the release. As noted by GSM Arena, multiple leaks last week hint at more or less the same specs.

Oppo R9 is said to come embedded with a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display. Other specs read out to be 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and a 2,85mAh battery. As shared by Tech Radar, there is some uncertainty surrounding what chipset will be powering the device, while earlier reports hinted at a quad-core 64-bit processor possessing “Kryo” cores, it also being said that an octa-core chip will be hiding under the hood.

As for the Oppo R9 Plus, it will sport a 6-inch 1080p display and arrive with a Snapdragon 652 chipset onboard. The device will feature 4GB RAM and is expected to become available with two internal storage options including 64GB and 128GB. The mammoth 4,120mAh battery fits the size of the phablet-sized device and should be taking care of continuing to provide juice for long hours.

There is also some uncertainty over what imagers fans may see strapped on the devices. Reportedly, the R9 may possess a 16MP primary camera and a 13MP secondary snapper.

The R9 Plus, on the other hand, will boast of a 16MP camera on the back as well as the front. Speculations have also hinted at the R9 featuring a 21MP primary snapper. Both the devices will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out the box and each device is expected to extend support for fast charging as well as boast of a fingerprint scanner.

Oppo loyalists will soon have the official lowdown on the device.
