Fans who have been long waiting to hear a word about the Oppo Find 9 will be delighted to know that the company’s flagship launch could take place sooner rather than later.
Oppo was expected to deliver a high-end device in 2015, post the launch of the flagship Find 7 back in 2014. Fans recently witnessed the arrival of the Oppo R9 and Oppo R9 Plus devices. But loyalists may have been hoping to see the next iteration of the Find 7 flagship arrive in 2015. And their hopes were raised when the whispers about the company working on the successor, Find 9 were heard in the beginning of the year. However, the year came and went and Find 9 made no appearance on the tech scenario. It was being predicted though that the Oppo flagship might hit store shelves in 2016.
Now, a recent report on GSM Arena suggests that the Oppo Find 9 may well be introduced to the world in June 2016. Another report on Android Headlines reveals that the upcoming flagship could be equipped with a 4K display. It also appears that the company may be working on launching two Find 9 variants, one with the 4K display while the other is expected to sport a curved panel.
The rumoured spec sheet of the device reveals that the Find 9 may be equipped with 6GB RAM, 128GB of onboard storage as well as arrive powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC. All of this along with a 4K display could make Find 9, a device to watch out for in the Q2 of 2016. If that wasn’t enough, then the upcoming smartphone may also sport “Smart Sensor” image stabiliser and support Oppo’s VOOC Flash Charge technology. The new technology is capable of charging a 2,500mAh battery in only 15 minutes. While all of these specs do sound very neat, the coming weeks should make certain which of these features will actually be on there!
